Our problem was that we were finding ourselves in the middle of a pandemic and feeling homesick and looking for relief. Our solution, of course, was to create a product that we could bring to Arkansas that felt like home.
Bourbon.
The idea was the easy part. But how do you take that idea and bring it to life? That’s the real story, here.
It starts with surrounding yourself with all the right people, and it ends with listening to them and doing exactly what they tell you to do without wasting any time overthinking or letting the details of what you don’t know overwhelm you.
Cara Blaize Osborne is a lover of bourbon, music, her Kentucky home in Carter County, KY, and most of all her husband Steve. By training she is a nurse midwife, holds a doctorate in Public Health, is a licensed helicopter pilot. In her day job, she teaches entrepreneurship at the University of Arkansas. Steve Brooks found his perfect partner in Cara and together they live life to its fullest at home in Arkansas with their merry band of 5 kids and Ryder the dog. By training, Steve is an accountant, attorney and investor, advising and investing in private companies of all sizes and industries.
